Following the risk-assessment interview with the landlord, the agent then conducts a full inspection of the property, systematically reviewing a list of elements divided into three categories: 1) general maintenance (drains and faucets, heating system, walls and ceilings, doorknob, locks and hinges, etc.); 2) hazards (live smoke detectors, double layered windows, pets, smoke smell, bedbugs, mold or extreme humidity); 3) by-laws and regulations (overview of fire code, occupancy rules, etc.). Every factor of risk identified by the agent will then be displayed in the relevant property listing on our website.
If the agent does not identify any issues that could severely affect the safety of the tenants or jeopardize their comfort, he may start the photography session.
